It began with Adnan, and a love of coffee
How one Jordanian's home-brewed passion grew into the elegant coffee house he always dreamed of.
Long before there was a sign above the door, there was Adnan — a Jordanian with a quiet obsession for coffee. In a small home kitchen he roasted, ground, and brewed for anyone who would sit with him, chasing the perfect cup the way some people chase the horizon.
Friends and neighbours kept coming back — not only for the coffee, but for the calm of it: the ritual, the care, the unhurried welcome. Slowly, a bigger idea took hold of him: an elegant coffee house where that same warmth could live, a place where people could put the day down and feel at home.
He named it Annecy — after the serene lakeside town whose quiet elegance held everything he wanted his place to feel: refined, gentle, and unmistakably warm. For years it lived only in his imagination. Today, it lives in every cup we pour.
"I never wanted to just sell coffee. I wanted to give people a place to breathe."
— Adnan, founder
